About Us
Weaver Farms is a family owned and operated goat dairy farming business specializing in producing high quality milk and breeding and marketing elite Alpine Genetics
Weaver Farms was formed in 2007 when Kevin Weaver purchased 150 purebred Alpine goats from a breeder in Quebec through his cousin Gord Weaver, Weavercroft Farms.
Kevin and his father Barry renovated the barn that Kevin's grandfather George and his two brothers Dick and Arnold of Weaver Bros milked a Master Breeder herd of Holstein cattle. Weaver Bros dispersed in 1987.
It was 2 weeks shy of 20 years of when the cattle moved out and the goats moved in and shipped the first load of goat milk in November 2007.
Kevin following the advice of his father is concentrating on breeding high quality genetics. Using tools such as herd classification through The Canadian Goat Society, breed improvement programs through Goat Genetics.ca and milk recording with CanWest DHI, Kevin is well on his way to developing an outstanding herd of Alpine goats.
